Staff Accountant

We're seeking a motivated staff accountant to join our growing team. This role offers the perfect foundation to develop your accounting expertise while making a meaningful impact for our clients through responsive service and clear communication.

As a staff accountant at Ocker Accountants & Consultants, you’ll be an essential part of delivering the responsive, clear financial services our clients value. This position provides hands-on experience across multiple accounting disciplines while working alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your success.

Your day-to-day

In this role, you’ll:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Assist with payroll preparation.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client queries and concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
